What is a “group’?
20 or more attending the same performance. Groups can reserve more than one date, but each date must meet the minimum.
How much of a discount do Groups receive?
Usually 10% but it may vary per show.
Do you have flyers to help me sell tickets?
You bet! We have a variety of promotional materials available.
Do we all have to sit in the same price zone?
Not at all. Your order can be split between each pricing level as long as you meet the group minimum. Accessible tickets can be included as part of or as an entire order, as long as you meet the group minimum. Please note, we cannot put seats on hold without a group order.
How far in advance do I need to order my tickets?
As far out as possible, to ensure the best seating available. Group leaders on our priority list receive notification of all upcoming events.
How do I order?
It’s easy. Call SHN Groups at 415-551-2020, 9-4:30, M-F.
For additional info, you can e-mail, however, all orders must be finalized by phone. When your order is completed, we will fax or mail a confirmation and invoice. For your convenience, you’ll be given a Group number to use for inquiries and confirmation of your order.
Can I order tickets for any performance?
Most shows have Group discount prices that apply for specific days and performances. Generally, there are no Group discounts on Saturday evenings. Groups may still purchase tickets for Saturday evening shows (or any other show that doesn’t offer a discount), subject to availability, at the standard ticket price.
Do you offer a student or senior discount?
Student tickets are available for some shows, but only through Group Sales. These seats are located in the side mezzanine and balcony sections and the prices vary by show. There are no senior tickets or discounts available.
Are there service fees or other charges added to the individual ticket price?
No, but there is a flat $15 service fee for each Group order for weekday performances and a $25 service fee for Saturday evening performances. And, if you add tickets to a paid order or pay with more than one credit card, an additional $10 fee will be applied to your order.
When must I pay for my order?
30 days before your show date. If seats are available, we can process an order 14 days or more in advance of your desired show date, when you pay in full.
How can I pay?
By credit card at 415-551-2020. We also accept checks and credit cards by mail or in-person (please call ahead) at our office. Make your check payable to the theatre where your show is appearing. For additional information, please refer to your Group sales invoice.
Can my tickets be exchanged or refunded?
Sorry, there are no refunds or exchanges on paid group or single tickets.
Can I increase or decrease my order?
Yes you can, from the time the original order is placed to the time of final payment. If you have paid, you can increase but seats are subject to availability and a $15.00 add on fee is charged each time you increase the number of tickets. You may not decrease you order after final payment.
How will I receive my tickets?
With two weeks or more prior to your performance date, your tickets will be sent via certified mail. In some instances, we will hold your tickets at the box office for pick-up on the day of the show (photo ID of Group leader required). For Fed- Ex, Express Mail or Courier, extra charges will apply.
